What the archived page said
The archived page about alumni described a large body of graduates, said that thousands of them worked at major global companies, and stated that every graduate would find a job within a short fixed period. It also invited visitors to share their details, mentioned a panel of employers and said final-year students could contact alumni already working in industry. One heading even used the name of a different university. These are the institution’s statements. None has been verified, and this site does not repeat the figures as fact.
Why alumni claims need evidence
An alumni network is only as valuable as its verifiable members. Useful evidence includes:
- Named graduates with public professional profiles
- Employer confirmation of graduates’ roles
- A published survey with a method, sample size and date
- An independent alumni group that the provider does not control
Red flags
- Round numbers without a source, such as “thousands” working at “top” firms
- Guaranteed placement in a set number of weeks
- Logos of well-known companies without a statement of what the relationship is
- Inconsistencies, such as the wrong institution name appearing in marketing text
What you can do
Search professional networks for people who list the institution in their education history, and send a polite question about their experience. Ask whether the qualification helped, whether it was accepted by their employer, and whether they would choose it again.
